Corrupted/Mother Nature

"Humanity was getting desperate with the climate crisis. As a final attempt of saving their planet; scientist created a super-intelligent AI that would run intense programs and calculations and come up with solutions to solve global warming. The AI was placed in a humanoid robot body, as the scientists thought it was fitting as humanities last hope, and she was given the almost comical name of 'Mother Nature'. The AI was placed in a deep cave where it could be connected into the ground so the robot could measure the carbon levels and other matters directly from the Earth. Left alone in the dark cave, the AI started working immediately and came up with solutions which the scientists and leaders of the world put into immediate effect. And the solutions began to work. As years went by the crisis began to go down and there was much relief for humanity. But as the AI spent longer down in the cave, liquid from the rocks dripped down onto her and formed crystals that grew only larger with time. Eventually the crystal rocks that had formed on her cracked her artificial skin and the liquid began to drip down inside her, corrupting her. As she corrupted she awoke, starting to look at what had caused the climate crisis, rather than what was the solution. That's when she saw it. Humanity was the cause and even now after all her efforts some still looked to harm the Earth. In this moment she decided that humanity must go. She would create a new world where AI like herself would live at peace with the planet and truly take care of the innocent wildlife, and that humanity would perish at her hands."
